Jiang Yong, founding and managing partner of TianTong, with more than two decades experience of practicing law in dispute resolution area, is solely dedicated to complex commercial and civil cases tried in China. He has devoted himself to make Tiantong one of the most reliable and respectable law firms in China.

 

Jiang Yong accurately grasps trends and updates of civil and commercial litigation in China, and makes creative contribution to law firm’s working approaches and process management. Yong has creatively established three signature approaches for TianTong: visualization, moot court and knowledge management & big data. He combines traditional law practice and new technologies, which has been increasing the firm’s efficiency greatly. Chen Yaoquan

Partner

Chen Yaoquan is a partner of TianTong and Co-Chair of litigation practice of the firm. He is one of the lawyers that represent the largest number of cases before the Supreme People’s Court and obtain the highest winning rate. Yaoquan has kept the “zero lost” record for many years consecutively. Many cases represented by him are viewed as leading cases that fill existing legal gaps.

 

Since 2002, Yaoquan has advised more than 100 cases before the Supreme Court. Yaoquan specialized in complex civil and commercial litigation, and his practice areas include: guarantee litigation, corporate-related disputes, securities litigation, commercial notes litigation and contract disputes.

 

Many cases represented by Yaoquan were published as guiding cases for national judicial practice on some of the most authoritative journals in China, including Gazette of the Supreme People’s Court and the Guidance of the Supreme People’s Court for Civil and Commercial Trials

Peng Qing

Partner

Peng Qing is a partner of TianTong and Co-Chair of litigation practice of the firm. Majored in law and economy, Qing has over 10 years of litigation experience.

 

Qing is familiar with procedures of land transfer and real estate development, and has represented many appeal and retrial cases before the Supreme Court that involve land use right transfer, cooperative development of real estate projects, and engineering projects. He is one of the first lawyers that creatively adopted visual aids in courtroom. Qing has one of the highest winning rates among all Chinese trial lawyers.

 

Meanwhile, Qing specializes in providing complete and structured solutions for dispute resolutions in financial industries, especially for series litigation. Wang Feng

Partner

Wang Feng is a partner of TianTong and a member of TianTong’s litigation practice committee. Graduated from China University of Political Science and Law, before joining TianTong, he spent a few years in a large real estate development company playing leading role in the legal department and the operation department. Feng has more than 10 years of litigation experience.

 

Feng’s practice areas include: land-related dispute, real estate development and construction engineering litigation, banking and finance, especially cases involving non-performing assets, equity and debts related litigation and administrative proceedings.

 

Feng has represented various large real estate developers, state-owned enterprises, asset management corporations, and “four state-owned commercial banks” in dozens of appeal and retrial cases before the Supreme Court and helped them save and win billions of damages.

 

Various cases represented by Feng were published as guiding cases for national judicial practice on some of the most authoritative journals in China including Gazette of the Supreme People’s Court.

Chen Zhihui

Partner & Director of Litigation Technique R&D Center

Chen Zhihui is a partner of TianTong and Director of the firm’s Litigation Technique R&D Center. He is also in charge of TianTong’s famous “TianTong Key Number” project.

 

Zhihui has extensive experiences in civil and commercial litigation practice. Besides representing clients in courtroom, he also spent an immense amount of time in case study and legal research based on TianTong’s first-hand practice experience. Since 2008, Legal Press China and the People’s Court Press has published more than 10 books written by Zhihui.

 
Zhihui is in charge of design and R&D of the firm’s TianTong Key Number project, and the book of TianTong Key Number has become one of the most authoritativetools in the “similar case reference system” in China. Zhihui spent an immense amount of time for the preparation of the book by searching and collecting millions of typical and authoratitive judgments ruled by the SupremeCourt and provincial high courts, and carefully summarizedand abstracted the important and coherent rules. TianTong Key Number is now providing critical help in searching and identifying typical cases and rules formed from judicial practice, and also can be used to get familiar with specific ways of thinking of different courts of China.

Zhu Huafang

Partner

Ms. Zhu Huafang is a partner of Tiantong and a member of the firm’s litigation practice committee. Huafang graduated from Ren Min University with a master degree in Civil and Commercial Law. Before joining TianTong, Huafang served as the deputy director of the legal department in a Fortune 500 company, and she has more than 10 years experiences in corporate legal risks management and foreign-related disputes resolution.

 

Huafang has comprehensive understandings of business operations and elegal affairs management in energy, agriculture, chemicals, real estate and finance sectors. She has extensive experiences in foreign-related disputes, cross-border transactions, international trade, international capital markets and management of transaction involving state-owned assets.
She has taken on key roles in several international litigation and arbitration cases seated in various jurisdictions, such as Britain, the United States, Hong Kong, Singapore and Syria, where she was in charge of developing the entire litigation strategies, conducting legal analysis, evaluating and managing local counsels, collecting significant factual details and evidence, drafting key legal documents and leading the negotiation for final settlements.

Wang Zhen

Partner

Ms. Wang Zhen is a partner of Tiantong. She graduated from China University of Political Science and Law with a master degree in Civil and Commercial Law. Prior to joining TianTong, Zhen served as deputy chief prosecutor at Beijing Municipal People’s Procuratorate. She has 15 years’ experience in prosecution, mainly focus on civil and administrative cases.

 

Zhen has extensive experiences in complex civil and commercial cases. She has worked for the Supreme Peoples’ Procuratorate and Beijing procuratorate for many years. During her public service years, she participated in the drafting of Rules on Supervision of Civil Trials by the Supreme People’s Procuratorate.

 

Zhen has in depth understandings of civil and commercial trials and the way of judicial review. She has handled more than 300 and mentored more than 1000 civil and commercialcases. Counter appealcases brought by her were 100% supported by the SupremeProcuratorate. She was one of the prosecutors with the highest “judgement amending rate”. One of her case was listed as “Top 10 Best Civil and Commercial Prosecution Guiding Case” in its inauguralaward.

Yang has extensive experiences in handling real estate and financial disputes. Before joining TianTong, Yang has working experiences relating to capital market. He has obtained the Certificate in Securities Qualification and Certificates in Futures Qualification. Shi Rui
